Lily, 21, apparently asked Taylor, 18, out on a date after being impressed with his sexy abs.

“Lily told pals that she wasn’t looking to fall in love, but soon realized she had strong romantic feelings,” a source told American tabloid the National Enquirer.

“Taylor was smitten from day one, but Lily let him know she was in a relationship with a stuntman who was working on a Steven Spielberg movie in New Mexico.

‘When the boyfriend got suspicious because Lily didn’t return calls promptly, he hopped a plane and turned up unannounced to confront her.”

He is so impressed with his new physique he has kept up his training to ensure his muscles stay taut and toned, and has joked the work-outs have left him bulky enough to pass for muscle-bound Twilight werewolf Taylor.

“I want to stay buff, you know,” Jaden told Irish film site movies.ie. “I’m trying to get my Taylor Lautner thing going on. Just in case they need a stunt double or something.

“I’m like, ‘Buff guy, here! Ready for any action, ready to turn into a werewolf at any time!’”

Jaden stars opposite Jackie Chan in The Karate Kid. He loved working with the veteran Chinese actor, and was constantly amazed by how “amazing” the older star is.

“Oh man, he is amazing,” Jaden gushed. “Man, he was just very straight forward and he would get things done when he needed to get things done, you know?

Lindsay Pepino Taylor Lautner has made a name for himself in Hollywood as an action star after his breakout role in New Moon. The young actor has since landed roles in the thriller Abduction, the super hero movie Stretch Armstrong and possibly a martial arts movie Cancun.Lautner was also approached by X-Men: First Class producer, Bryan Singer, for a role in Marvel’s adaptation of the comic series.

Singer said, “I wanted Taylor to do it, I really did. He’s doing a movie in Pittsburgh called ‘Abduction’ and then he’s got the next ‘Twilight’ movie. We talked about it a lot, he is a friend, and I really wanted to make it work. It just doesn’t look like it’s possible to do it.

Singer also confirmed other cast members from the movie that will be directed by Kick Ass’ Matthew Vaughn and will open in theatres on June 3, 2011.

“Kevin Bacon I do believe is going to happen. James McAvoy is definitely cast as a young Charles Xavier, Mike Fassbender is in the movie, Nick Hoult, those are for sure.”

According to Life & Style’s Scene Queens, the “Eclipse” stud is giving his relationship with Sarah Hicks another go.

An unknown source says, “Taylor and Sarah are definitely back on. She’s absolutely gorgeous, and Taylor has always had a thing for her.”

Adding fuel to the fire at the beginning of the month, Ms Hicks tweeted that she was headed off for vacation and at the same time Mr Lautner mysteriously went off the radar.

Swapping in and out of various outfits, the “Twilight” stud hopped onto a motorcycle as he cruised around the grounds as cameramen captured all of the action.

Directed by John Singleton, “Abduction” boasts a cast including Elisabeth Rohm, Maria Bello, Sigourney Weaver, Alfred Molina, and Jason Issacs.

Of the movie, Lautner told press, “I love action, but most important is the story. And the story behind this action thriller ['Abduction'] is amazing. We got [director] John Singleton behind us. … I’m so thankful we’re getting a cast like that.”

Is Taylor Lautner, the highest paid teen star on the H’wood block right now, ready to suit up for the new X-Men flick?

Reports claim Lautner, best known for his role as the cuddliest werewolf ever in Eclipse, is being sought out to join James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender in X-Men: First Class, which is set to start shooting this summer.

Hate to break the news to you Team Jacob fans, but…

It’s not happening.

Sources close to Taylor tell us it’s “not true” that the teen dream is being pursued by Fox to join the über-successful franchise. And we say, shame on it!

This kind of film is a perfect fit for Lautner and his career. After seeing the painful movie that was Valentine’s Day (hardly just T.L.’s fault), we think action guy is the ideal role for the mini heartthrob.

The Twilight hunk is already in tip-top shape, we would rather see him kick some ass over solely chasing girls. Sorry, but we’re crossing our fingers romantic comedies will not be Taylor’s forte (here’s hoping Stretch Armstrong makes us forget the Taylor and Taylor Swift awkwardness).

We just think of Lautner as a Tom Cruise in the making—the early years. We’re talking about the Days of Thunder and Mission Impossible Tom Cruise, not jumping on Oprah’s couch Tom Cruise.

Tay has what it takes to be a blockbuster star. The cute dimples, hot bod, perfectly groomed hair, and P.C. way he handles the press leads us to believe Mr. Perfect will have a cushy career. If he makes the right choices. An X-Men type flick would have been a fab fit for the Twilight babe, so let’s hope something like that does come along.
